ATTENDANCE: 14 members present. PREVIOUS MEETING MINUTES: Minutes from October 12, '05 presented. Motion made by Dave Connelly to accept minutes. Motion seconded by Mark Belland and carried. NEW BILLS: None pre$ented. $heldon became giddy. Only a few people pointed at this odd display. COMMUNICATIONS: None. COMMITTEE REPORTS: Trailmaster's Report: No report. Membership: 37 paid members so far for the 05/06 season (last year's "total" was 153). Keep your membership current by paying your dues. Publicity: Need Sno-Traveler story "dirt". =;-) UPDATE: December story submitted, but I'll need "stuff" for January. Activities: Holiday party will be Saturday, December 10th from 6-10. Directions to be provided at a later date. - Scott Simon is putting together a couple of trips for this winter: One is Baker River to Littleton and back (with overnight stay in Littleton). The second would be to Lancaster area. - It was noted that the Lisbon OHRV parking lot is micely located and spacious (right downtown). Safety: 33 students on the roster (as of this meeting). $345 in donations collected from those sign-ups. ($heldon got a little giddy, again! More finger pointing.) Breakdown: 8 NH, 24 MA, 1 RI. Fund Raising: Raffle tix available. - Need a donation solicitation letter? They'll be done in November. Have someone in mind whom you'd like to solicit from, but are little shy? Contact Newt Coryell or $heldon Kolan$ky for assistance. They're pretty good at separating people from their money. Web Site: Oct avg 150 visits/day. UNFINISHED/OLD BUSINESS: Board of Directors (BOD): We need 3 "new" volunteers to fill the soon-to-be-expiring 2-year terms. Interested? Let us know! NEW BUSINESS: Hollis Nor'Easters, thru Newt, have asked about leasing or buying the club's grooming sled. Rick will speak with Roland for his thoughts. - John Livingston brought up subject of groomer being used by Brookline Ice Breakers. Roland had previously agreed to this (with conditions). - Present trail maintenance agreement is that Wilton will groom to Milford and Brookline would groom thru Milford. This involves the Milslip Recreation Area (ATV club is active in there). - Re: "selling" club's grooming sled; consensus of members present was to "keep it". Motion made, seconded and carried to NOT SELL CLUB'S Ski-Doo Super Wide Track. - $heldon will call Allied Insurance to ask if we can "lease" our sled to another NHSA club. - Question was asked about Sno-Buds Dubs (shirts, jackets, hats, etc). $heldon to put together an email with the offerings and pricing. COUNTY MEETING: Next meeting was in Hudson on 10/31 @ 7:30PM. W/E RIDING PLANS: Time to be thinking about where you'd like to lead the Sno-Buds on a day or overnight trip. It's OK if we've been there before. If we liked it then, why not go again! Motion made to adjourn meeting around 8:13. Motion was seconded and it carried. ---NEXT CLUB MEETING--- November 9th at Wasserman Park at 7:30pm. Respectfully submitted by: Eric Mortenson, Secretary, |
