The letter noted that the NHSA would be doing all it can to protect its members while they perform tasks for the good of New Hampshire snowmobilers. assorted junk mail.

Activities: No report. Safety: Sixteen now signed up for OHRV Safety Course. - Briefly discussed the 6-year old who died while trying to cross the road on an ATV and was struck by two vehicles! Charges may be filed against the father for allowing the youth to illegally operate the ATV

Fund Raising: $9300 raised so far. More donations requested.

Web Site: Sept avg 151 visits/day. The NH Grass Drags site, on the Friday it started: 978 visits & 13,000 hits! Surely must have had the gerbils in the wheel really moving!

UNFINISHED/OLD BUSINESS: Sign Guy has offered to make the signs needed for Pit Road at the grass drags. This should improve communication AND understanding! NEW

BUSINESS: Previously, Nov 9th was selected for a Club BOD Mtg. This is in conflict with a regular Club meeting scheduled for the same night. - Sheldon brought up a point regarding the deferment until after next years grass drags of payment to clubs for the hours their members worked at this years event. Members in attendance agreed with this proposal and $heldon will take this message back to NHSA. - Newt gave thanks to Rick DiOrio and Geroge Lyon for their assistance in hauling out remains of abandoned cars from Horse Hill Recreation Area. Next step is to raise items still there off the ground so they don't freeze in once it gets cold. This will improve ability of getting them out over the Winter (over the snow, which will be far easier).

COUNTY MEETING: Next meeting will be in Hudson on 10/31 @ 7:30PM.

W/E RIDING PLANS: We're starting to hear of snowfall in the north country. Can the need to make riding plans be far behind? I think not!! Motion made to adjourn meeting around 8:19. Motion was seconded and it carried.

---NEXT CLUB MEETING--- October 26th at Wasserman Park at 7:30pm.
